CLOSURES IN STOCK

Postby remyhair on Wed May 10, 2006 6:46 pm

We will carry two types of silk mesh closures. Double Knotted.

A smaller part closure which is to be used just to cover where you would like your part (5cm by 14 cms and 14, 16, 18 inch long hair) and a larger closure piece (14, 16, 18 inch long hair roughly 4-5 inchs by 5-7 inches)

Small part tradional closure: $135.00
Large free parting Closure: $165.00

Please add $25.00 for wavy and $35 dollar for curly. Please add $5.00 for blonde colors or colors not in the natural black Indian hair color.

The price is the same for all lengths from 14-18inches. For lengths 20-22 inches please add $50.00 per piece. For 23-27 inches, please add $70.00 per piece.

We will commonly carry 16 inches in the closures since that is the most popular size.

Out of stock of the closure you are looking for? You can special order it and have it made for you in roughly 16 days.

We are also in the process of getting lace frontals in.

I will post more about that when the time comes.

Pictures coming soon!

Have any :?:s, then please email me!

I can not tell you how many people do not believe it!

But yes that is the close piece installed!!!!

It was sewn in.

I actually had my stylist follow the instructions that Malinda from the fotki site suggested.

I completely forgot to have pictures taken whil eit was being put in.

But we did the normal vertical braids and put the small closure piece wher I wanted the part to go.

Thanks so much for the information.. The closure really looks good.. I have a few more questions if you don't mind..

    1. Which size closure do you have installed in your pics?
    2. Can you point me in the righ direction of Malinda's fotki/instructions. (ETA: Is her screenname ThAbAdDeStBaBy??)
    3. Can these closures be purchased texturized to look more like relaxed textured hair?? (What additional cost is there for this??)

1). I have the small closure installed. (i hav,e alot of hair so the large would have just been way to much hair.

2). Yes that is Malinda!, She actually sent me some great pictures of how to install a closure. I completely forgot to take some of my own while mine was being put in. Not sure she has them on her fotki though I told her that her pictures were the easiest to understand. It really was alot easier then i thought it would be. I am going to try and write out some instructions this evening. and see if i can explain it well that way.

3). Closures can come in virgin straight, wavy, and curly remy. We can also have the closure texturized in a yaki. Or if you are looking for a specific curl, then you can have it texturized by out specialist.

For yaki or straight there is no additional cost. Wavy and curly do cost a bit more but that is because wavy and curly are a little tricker to knot in place. If you want the curl texturized to a specific pattern then it is $50.00 extra which covers the cost by our specialist.

Okay.. and for real these are my last two questions...

    1. Can the closures be parted ANYWHERE within the skin area?
    2. What is the outer edge of the skin side made of? If it's poly, are there air circulation/breathing issues when wearing this closure especially when wearing this closure 8-12 weeks (average weave wearing time)

1). THe large closure has more parting freedom. Mostly it is because it is much larger in size. The small closure can be parted anywhere too, but since there is less space to the closure, it doesnt have as much parting freedom as the larger one. I can take pictures of what i mean by this.

2) The outer edge is a small 1/4 inch strip of poly. I actually have had my closure install for about 8 weeks now and have not had any problems It is such a thin little piece that has the poly on it. By using the poly to install the closure, it gives you a chance to install it tighter then just using the measue because the poly stretches a bit.

please excuse any typos since i am replying by phone.

Hi Camille,

I'm baaaack!!!

A few more questions..

1. My stylist braids using very small braids where there are no visible parts between braids. Since this mesh is sheer, wouldn't I need to use a cap underneath the closure in order to give the appearance of skin where I part it?

2. Do you have pictures of what your Yaki texture hair looks like?

3. If I were to go for a custom texture, would sending you samples of the texture I want to match be enough to explain what it is I am after in terms of texture??

4. How much for custom coloring services on the closures? I don't want anything fancy, just a few chunky highlights or lowlights..

Since this mesh is sheer, wouldn't I need to use a cap underneath the closure in order to give the appearance of skin where I part it? No ma’am, I had plenty of braids under the closure that were very tiny, and it still looked very natural and skinish. I will attach a picture.

2. Do you have pictures of what your Yaki texture hair looks like? Well the yaki hair looks just like the straight. I do not really see anything different in the look. But for example, the skinwefts pictures are with yaki hair and the closures are with virgin straight hair.

3. If I were to go for a custom texture, would sending you samples of the texture I want to match be enough to explain what it is I am after in terms of texture?? Yes you can send the sample of the texture you want our stylist to match. She can match any curl pattern but it is easier if she can have a picture or a sample of what you are looking for.

4. How much for custom coloring services on the closures? I don't want anything fancy, just a few chunky highlights or lowlights.. I will have to check with V on that because I would think she would want to handle that since she does the custom texture.
